first choice for pool vac

this is an old fashioned pool vacuum and this should be your first choice! I have 2 different robotic and a hand vacuum that has net and battery ran and all three are to messy and time consuming to clean. this vacuum cleaned all the crud we had in the bottom of our pool after we opened it this year. this was so easy hook to the intake and run on waste if you have a bunch of crud so it don't run through your sand filter. and run your garden hose into your pool at the same time because your waste will pull a lot of water out of the pool along with the crud. should be your first choice for pool vac. this is our 5th yr with our 13x24 Intex pool with saltwater system.

Seems well made

I like this pool vac for my above ground pool. It seems very well made and the hose is nice and long. More brushes/bristles than others I’ve used so it gets debris off the bottom. You can see them in my pic. I also took one of everything in the box. You MUST GET your own pole and whatever attachments you need to attach the hose to your waste out. The 2 white pieces you see in the 1st pic go in each end of the hose to attach it. One end attaches to the brush and the other part attaches to the outflow. My pool is an intex so I had the screw on part that goes on the waste. No instructions come with it so that’s why I took off a star. I knew how to set it up because I’ve had inground or above ground pools for years. You won’t go wrong with this one. I keep my pool up all year and I’m confident that this one will last longer than others. Now I’ve got to go get the rest of those leaves out!

Doesn't come with adapter for akimmer

It's fine. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the robot vacuums. I need something heavy duty for a lot of debris opening my pool for the season. It doesn't come with an adapter for the skimmer connection. Having to order one off amazon. For now, my husband is holding it on while I vacuum. But it doesn't the job.
