Mainstays Breck 20-Piece Stainless Steel Silver Flatware Set, Service for 4 Adults

I had to get a new set of flatware. Between the little ones eating a yogurt to go home and the older ones taking a fork and knife to use for lunches at work the silverware tray became a pretty messy, empty space. So I went through all of the Mainstays flatware options and I found these. I was skeptical at first, but Mainstays has always been a reliable choice. So I took a chance and wow! so glad I got these. They are mid-weight, not too heavy, not too light. They are durable, so they do not easily bend. The knives are just the right length with good serrating. The forks have four tines and are not too sharp nor too dull, they are just right. There are four teaspoons and four tablespoons which are oval shaped. Personally, having a round soup spoon rather than an oval shaped tablespoon, though it is easier to find a soup spoon than a set of flatware this nice at this price point. These are inexpensive, not cheap. They do well in the dishwasher. They do not easily rust, of course anything metal that soaks in water will rust, don't keep them soaking in water for days and they will not rust. The price is phenomenal and it makes a great housewarming gift, wedding gift or flatware set for the kids moving into their first apartment or going off to college. Highly recommend!

Again, price for performance is unbeatable! It is a simple, basic, non-descript design that is pure functional perfection! Heavy, polished, beautiful set.
