The handles are thick and I have no worries I will slip when using it. Easy to wash. Extra large apples require some elbow grease. With tiny apples it will waste fruit due to the size of the corer in the middle. For normal sized apples it is convenient. If you need to cut a lot of apples for baking, meal prep, etc it will save you time.
