Clean and simple

This trash can is great. It is not too big so it does not take up a big area and it is also short enough to slide under counters. The lid opens and closes easily which is always nice to have when disposing waste. It would be better if the button was on the floor to use your foot but that's not the design of this kind. Easy to keep clean

Trash can with flip top lid

Got this to use in my craft room. Larger than most trashcans intended for rooms other than the kitchen. That is a plus but could potentially be something I don't like about it. My initial search for the perfect sized trash BAG came up empty. Like Goldilocks, they were either too big or too small. Word of advice: when the lid is open, the height is nearly 28 inches, which makes it too tall to fit under my crafting table. Strongly suggest measuring if you hoped to tuck it neatly under your work surface. Seems well made, lid opens easily ... perhaps too easily if you decide to store something like dog treats in it. One tap of a booper snoot and it's a treat free for all.

The quality of the material has fallen

I was really looking forward to getting this trash can because I bought one a few years ago and it's been great. Unfortunately, the material of the top and lid have are much flimsier than the old one. The latch doesn't hold with a simple pressing down. It keeps popping back up. I have to close it very carefully, so that now I just leave it hang open. Yuck.
