Mainstays White Flour Sack Kitchen Towel Set, 5-Piece

Love these flour sack towels !! I received from my sister , they reminded her of our Nana and Aunt Mimi, yes they did ! In addition to their intended use Nana tied them around our waist to secure us into our 1950’s high chair . I use them for drying dishes (lint free) drying fruits and vegetables. I bought a few more sets to give away to as reminders of Nana C and Aunt Mimi 🩷

I have bought these for years! They hold up great! I’ve used them for cleaning, burp cloths, hand towels, dinner napkins, baking, art… honestly there is not much I haven’t used them for! When they get too stained and aren’t pretty enough to be hand towels in the bathroom or kitchen (I keep a huge stack of them by sinks and a laundry pail nearby so one use and toss it in- saves so much money on paper towels and it’s far more sanitary living with boys) then I move them to cleaning towels or my favorite thing to do is have a dying day with the kiddos and dye them colors that match whatever motif the house is in currently… they dry well, last forever, the sewing stands the rest of time, and they get softer the longer you have them. I keep a stack in my vehicle to wipe windows, dashboards, and random kid spills. They also bleach well, and if you’re not a bleach fan, they do work well with washing and then spraying with lemon water and laying in the sun to naturally bleach and dry.
