Super soft, with a slight luster. Yarn is easy on hands for crocheting. The color is more of a baby green turquoise, than green, I used for children's hats. I put in another order once I started using it. The 5 oz skein is 141.748 grams. This Mainstay anti-pill yarn is made by Premier Yarn. Great value Machine washable, but lay flat to dry.
