Super soft, with a slight luster. Yarn is easy on hands for crocheting. The color is more of a baby green turquoise, than green, I used for children's hats. I put in another order once I started using it. The 5 oz skein is 141.748 grams. This Mainstay anti-pill yarn is made by Premier Yarn. Great value Machine washable, but lay flat to dry.

The color is beautiful for baby hats and booties. I did find 2 ends tied together in the center but I worked around it. I have bought this yarn more than once and love it. My only complaint is that it could have more yardage so you won't have to buy so many skiens of yarn.
