Verified Purchase

Good unit, purchased as new, obviously used.

Although the DVD Recorder/VCR works correctly and is in good condition, I purchased the item expecting a brand new unit unopened in the box. What I got was a repackaged unit in AN original box with quite a bit of damage to the box, leading me to believe the box alone was in storage somewhere while the unit was in use. There are NO tamper stickers on the unit anymore so it's not possible for me to know if it was opened and "reconditioned", but I believe that to be the case. There was even a note from the seller inside the manufacturers box stating how it was carefully packaged. Stating the item was "NEW" was very misleading for the ad and although I debated returning it we decided to keep it and assume the seller had reason for listing it as new when it obviously is not.
