If you're looking for a healthier natural sweetener, this is the best. There is zero after taste like most other sweeteners that have aspartame and other fake sweeteners. The consistency is similar to thin pancake syrups, so be cautious when pouring it. It's a bit pricey, but well worth substituting in place of sugar. I would say the sugar ratio would be equal in all recipes.

I'm completely spoiled after getting hooked on this delightful sweetness. Depending on your "sweet tooth" I would start off with a small amount and add accordingly. I would be most happy, if it were a little less pricey but, since my son got me to try it several years ago, I can't let go. It makes the best cup of coffee I've ever tasted!

Love Madhava!

I've been a sugar addict most of my life but I've been a borderline diabetic for several years. I refuse to use fake sweeteners and I'm not a fan of stevia. This is lower glycemic and I only need about a 1/4 of a teaspoon in my tall mug of coffee replacing 2 tsps. Of sugar. I've also been familiar with this company since they first started. Also the taste is very mild but takes very little to sweeten things!
