Ordered this part in the hope that it will last as long as the original one did! It was easy to install, but I need to get someone with professional knowledge to make some adjustments as I think something shifted when the original one broke.

Cub Cadet 26” 31AM5CVS756 snowblower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speed cable popped out of its hole and I thought the end had broken off so I ordered the cable. Come to find out it isn't anchored in there by anything but tension which seems odd. Speeds in reverse barely crawl and as such I don't even bother using. Chute shovel tends to come off while using blower and ran over that necessitating ordering a replacement as it went through the blades. Other than these issues I like the unit. Definitely quieter than the John Deer it replaced.
