Works even without drilling

Bought this as a blind bet because I cannot drill the walls of the apartment I rent. However, I tried to use command to attach the shelves to the bathroom wall and it worked perfectly. If you face the same issue, I guarantee it's safe. If not, they send screws together for you to assemble them the classic way hahaha

Very nice and fits any decor

The Mainstays 16.5 WallMounted Floating Shelf is very nice. It is made of a very thick, sturdy imitation wood. Very well made. Easily mountable. Has 4 metal inserts with plastic pieces to screw into wall and hold in place. Very good workmanship.

I originally got a set to use next to my desk in my home office as a creative workaround for holding my desktop tower and phone charger/stand. Didn't want my desktop on the floor, didn't want it hogging space on the desk—these shelves solved the problem perfectly. One small hiccup: one of the shelves arrived without the mounting brackets installed. Not a huge deal since I had extra screws on hand, but if I didn't, it would've meant a return or an annoying trip to the hardware store. So heads-up—maybe check your parts before diving into install mode. Despite that, I liked them so much that I bought a second set to use in another spot around the house. They look great, feel sturdy, and definitely upgraded my space without breaking the bank.
