I discovered these after trying many different brands. I had an aging german shepherd dog with some teeth issues. We were told he needed scaling and i tried to help him out by using these type of cleaners. After using for several months we took him in and they said he didn't need scaling/cleaning anymore. They worked amazing and he never had problems again. We know bad oral health is not good for your pup's longevity so the cost is well worth it. When we got a puppy we swore we would keep her teeth healthy and incorporated these from the start so once her puppy teeth fell out we started small and gradually increased the the size. We moved to a large but I switch back and forth with 2 mediums giving them to her at lunch and before bed. The large ones work great but I was hoping to help with any nighttime food which is why I incorporated two bones at different times. We have had zero breath and teeth issues. I would be careful about over feeding them. I tried two large ones and sometimes it caused looser stool. She's 65lb lab mix. If you have a bigger guy or gal pushing 90 to 100 then large is a must for them to adequately chew so the bones work their magic. Love these.
