Went on Well

I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought it performed well. Very inexpensive and goes a long way. I didn't paint anything fancy with it, just 2 footstools and a cabinet, all were wood, footstools were painted, cabinet was unfinished. Both worked out great. I paid a lot of money to have my kitchen floor grout stained to the original oyster color, but a year later it looks terrible again and I can't clean it, so recently I've chalk painted a test portion of the grout, right where it gets dirtiest. It has dried for a few days and I just wiped it with a cloth to see if the paint would stay on and it did. So I might paint all my kitchen floor grout with the color "Primitive" and hope for the best. If it works, it will be a cheap fix.

Great color!

Chalk paint is tricky to work with..you have to move faster than with acrylics...and it gets 'dusty' like chalk but I'm learning to work with it. It's just different. I'd use a brush made specifically for this paint or go nylon because it's thick and I was pulling pieces of brush out of the paint. A positive.. It cleans up with water. And I love all the colors!

chalk paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] needs two coats for coverage. dries quickly. wish it came in even smaller containers. did a plant stand and barely used 1/8 of the container; still good price value. Used the lime green to cover blue wood. then covered the green with pale moon and distressed it so that the green would peek through.
