When Replacing a Fuel Pump, Please Remember:

1. Replace the filter or strainer with new.

2. Professionally flush or clean the fuel tank.

3. Inspect, repair, or replace suspect vehicle connectors and wiring.

4. Refer to the Diagnostic/Troubleshooting and Installation Guidelines document found in the fuel pump box.

How to Get Longevity out of your Fuel Pump?

1. Replace your inline fuel filter on an annual basis or approximately every 12,000 to 15,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2. Keep your fuel system clean by having the throttle body and fuel injection system cleaned approximately every 20,000 to 30,000 miles.

3. Follow the rule of avoiding the level of your fuel, falling below a ¼ of a tank.
