Took 2.5 hours to assemble, but good chronological instructions, %26 well marked parts mitigated the complexity. Quite heavy, even now without the full propane tank. Put it into usage position before loading the tank. Good metal construction-nicely punched-with a nice paint finish. We bought glass beads that added some weight though. But as nice as this unit looks, we think dirty lava rocks are a mistake. The glass windscreen is a useful %26 classy feature!

This fire pit is an amazing find. first an formost its a great fire pit. We have two different makes and the Maison fire pit lights so quickly, on the first try. Our other fire pit takes about 10 trys, if it lights at all. Secondly is the beautiful cream color - other manufacturers charge so much for any color, if available. Moreover, there's the included glass fence for those cold, windy days. And, finally, the Maison comes with a heavy-duty cover. How can you go wrong.
