Mainstays Nonstick 7.6" x 7.6" x 1.8" Square Cake Pan, Brownie Pan, Dark Gray

This little pan is great for a dinner for two, or a small cake. I think two of these pans for a square double layer cake would be really cute and unique. I made a pineapple upside down cake in it and it was super easy to flip over and the cake came out perfectly. The pan is sturdy and has a nice finish. I love the unique size!

The Mainstays Non-stick square pan is a 7.8 inch x 7.8 inch x 1.8 inch baking pan. It comes in a set of 2 and is the perfect size for making a small batch of brownies. I also used it to make a breakfast bread pudding for my family, and it proved perfect for providing about 4 healthy sized servings. I like that the sides of this pan are completely straight. They create the perfect edge for your baked item. This is especially helpful if you are trying to create a clean line when cutting your brownies or if you are stacking cakes. In my experience when using this pan, my baked goods come out of the oven evenly cooked and nicely colored. The nonstick surface worked great and hopefully will continue to last over time. One tip for cake decorators is to use nonstick cooking spray first on the pan and then to use baking or parchment paper and then spray again on top of this surface if you want to really ensure easy removal and perfect edges on your cake. I am happy with this product and the price point is very good for the product that you receive.
