The quality was really good for the price I paid for these. I have used these string lights camping. They still work perfectly after winding and unwinding the cords multiple times. They stood up to a really rough rain storm one of the nights I was camping. After a sunny day these stayed lit from about 8pm until 5am so the battery life in such a tiny product is really good. They pack away really small so are easy to store if using for camping or other outdoor activities. The different modes of the light are fun, my kid enjoyed selecting which mode to use. I didn't use a remote control, just set them up, turned them on, selected the mode and left them for the duration of the camping trips.
