Each switch can be found on the side mounted driver which keeps the fixture to only 1.47 inches thick which makes it ideal for shallow and low profile grid installations. You can also choose to use these lights with a surface mounting kit or suspension kit for more installation options kits sold separately. The backlit design of these drop ceiling lights provides multiple benefits which include a soft and uniform light distribution, no yellowing over time, and a sturdy construction which make these panels harder to bend.
