This blanket can easily handle the same volume of liquid as the bladder of a well-hydrated 41 year old woman *if you ask her nicely and marry her a bunch of years ago*. Even with rigorous motion directly atop the now-wet blanket, nothing leaked through! For the price, I was expecting to be able to easily feel the waterproof layer. I tried but couldn't. Plus, it was softer than expected and that was super nice!
