Easy to install. One tool needed- A Phillips head screwdriver. Confession- I'm not very mechanically inclined, to say the least, but I had no difficulty installing these doorknobs. The included installation directions are fairly clear. Because I am mechanically deficient, I also watched a few YouTube videos on basic doorknob installation which helped a lot. The look and finish are great, knobs are sturdy, and of good quality.
