We love this cast iron pan. I started out frying bacon in it and its already non stick. Excellent quality and easy to clean with cast iron scrubber, although most food rinses out easily with sink sprayer and no scrubbing needed. we use cast iron soap and oil for cleaning.

Perfect Sear and No Enamel Coating Flaking

Perfect for pan searing or frying. I have a 12 inch however the two extra inches makes a huge difference when pan searing chicken breast. I am able to now cook all of them at once (4 flatten with a mallet). I am also now able to make a bigger batch of cornbread in preparation for Thanksgiving. Nice weight and always give a nice sear. I have several Staub enamel skillets and pots but I still reach for this the Lodge Cast Iron skillet when searing as I don't have to worry about using wooden or silicone coated utensils that could ruin the finish. It does the job for half the cost. I recommend for any cook!
