Heavy duty tripod perfect for Dutch oven
My husband is new to outdoor cooking so I purchased this 43.5 inch tripod for him. He enjoys using it out in the backyard with a Dutch oven. The tripod is very heavy duty and sets up very easily. Nothing to unscrew. It is already assembled. It has no problem, holding a cast-iron Dutch oven and should last for many years. The only thing to note is that it is 43 inches tall so it is intended for use over a fire that is low to the ground. Lodge makes a taller 60 inch version if a higher application is needed. We also have the 60 inch version that unscrews and breaks down smaller for taking on our camping trips.
