The Lockdown Automatic Dehumidifier is the ultimate in humidity protection. It removes moisture directly out of the air using an ultra-efficient thermo-electric process. Water drains into a holding tank or directly to your drain with the built-in hose connection. Best of all, the Automatic Digital Control turns the unit on only when the humidity gets high and turns it off when it’s back under control.

Much easier than dealing with silica packs/cans. Used in combination with the Lockdown Puck, I can remotely look at my gun safe environment from anywhere. Just check/empty the reservoir every 3 weeks or so, or use the included drain tube for a set and forget solution.

Solid construction and performance
I bought this a month ago moving from Colorado to Alabama. It keeps the humidity way down but it makes the safe pretty hot. Unless you have mounting holes in your safe the wires have to be routed through the door which is kind of silly looking. It's pretty robust so a small to medium size ammo or gun room would be perfect for this thing.
