I purchased this to help reinforce a door which had been tampered with after changing the lock. The metal looks nicer in person, I was pleasantly surprised. It is relatively simple to install. Just be sure to measure properly, and also to make sure the drill you use is strong enough for the job. I have a pretty solid door, and am a novice at this sort of thing, so my first attempt I used a tool that was not able to get the job done. I figure there must be others reading who could be in the same situation, so borrow a good drill from a handy friend. Actual install is super easy. Metal is a bit less easy for creeps to mess around with than your standard out of the box front door. Worth buying this even if your door has not been damaged. Add a little extra security for very little cost.
