Steel Bench Glider a great addition to any patio

Love my "Living Accents Steel Bench Glider"! The design is beautiful and very heavy. It had a few marks from shipment, but please, to get this design instead of the regular straight line, a few dents are minor. I have put furniture, bicycles, etc. together so this was no problem. It would be nice tho, instead of only "pictures" a few words would help. Look at each piece carefully along with the "picture" directions, you'll get the jest. I would recommend.

Satisfied

The wrong color but it works. No damage to parts and looks nice! Can move around as it is not real heavy!

Hard to Assemble; Uncomfortable; Barely Glides

This bench looks good, but I'd hardly call it a glider. It moves just a few inches in either direction (and not smoothly). It is also quite tricky to put together. There are no instructions to speak of, just a parts list and diagrams that you will need a magnifying glass to see (and an engineering degree to understand). There are four sizes of bolts, and three of them are very nearly the same size. The instructional diagram is virtually incomprehensible and does little to help distinguish one size of bolt from the others or explain where each size goes. Although I couldn't find a YouTube video for this specific brand of bench, I did find it helpful to watch a video for another brand so I could conceptualize what the bench pieces were and how the glider mechanism works. Beware though, that on this brand, one of the immovable glider base bars shares a hole in the base frame with a glider bar (and uses a larger bolt than you use to connect the other glider base bar). It is completely non-intuitive. Also, the package was supposed to come with 18 nuts but only came with 17, so I had to go the hardware store to replace it. While there, I decided to replace all four of the largest bolts (and buy corresponding nuts), because I found them too short to connect the bench to the glider (the last step of assembly). I am admittedly not the most adept at assembling furniture, so maybe it's me. But my husband, who is quite capable of putting things together, didn't want to touch this once he opened the box and saw the so-called instructions. Long story short, all told it took me four hours to put this bench together (including said trip to hardware store and various disassembly to correct my mistakes). Rather than feel a sense of accomplishment, I don't find this to be comfortable or an inviting place to sit and rock. But now that it is finally assembled, it would be too much trouble to take it apart and return it, especially since the box is no longer at this property. My advice: Choose a different one.
