Great for Soaking a Toothbrush...

Yeah, I'd never gargle with this stuff. The best thing for Bad Breath is never Mouth Wash, but instead, try brushing your teeth after every meal. Besides, It tastes like the scent you get from Lysol. If Lysol scent had a taste, this is exactly what it would taste like. However, if you want to avoid gingivitis, etc dental woes, and keep your teeth at least until you're 70, then you should soak your toothbrush in some sort of Antiseptic, at least once a week. This stuff works as an Antiseptic. Probably, Germs cannot stand the taste either. But after soak, if you scrub the Brush with a small amount of toothpaste, the Bad Taste won't linger. I mean, yeah, Scope tastes a lot better, but it does not do the job as an Antiseptic.

I like Listerine mouthwash , but I do not like the sugary taste. It works for me and freshens my breath. This is also a before bed mouthwash after I floss and brush my teeth. Not good ingredients for a person that is pre diabetic or has diabetes.

Listerine for my money!

You've seen ads for countless, alcohol-free rinses, and how those that contain alcohol can dry out your mouth and cause halitosis. Sure, that's possible, but not guaranteed. but the one thing alcohol rinses can do that alcohol-free can't is KILL GERMS! Besides, Listerine is a fine product, and if used responsibly, it won't dry out your mouth, nor cause bad breath. what I like about Listerine is that crisp cool aftertaste letting me know that regardless what I have for breakfast, no one will pick up a scent.
