If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding an appropriate Pro Plan kitten formula. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Alright, Purina ProPlan is an expensive pet product. It is the top tier food made by Purina. The food is excellent quality: I know this because the litter box doesn't fill up in a day. My cats do not leave a morsel in the bowl. Their coats are shiny. They have boundless energy. Good quality food makes for a healthy pet.

My cat has always been healthy and ever any problems with picky eating. I bought a bag of purina as it was recommended by a friend. He is obsessed. At 5 years old with this food, I have to measure out his feedings because he likes the dry so much that I noticed him putting on some weight.
