The product is as designed for a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500. The truck comes standard with a 4way flat and 7way round, however, I wanted to add a fire strip below the tailgate and needed a open 4way flat. I did not want the plug to show and did not want to splice into the harness, so this did the trick. Shipping would have been very expensive so I chose to pick up in store. The product took a few days to get there, but it did get there undamaged.
