The very best dishwasher

My dishwasher is nearly twelve years old purrs like a kitten and washes clean as a whistle.we couldn't be happier.searching back through the lifespan that I have had my dishwasher I can't come up with one complaint it is very dependable. If for some reason it should break I would definitely replace it with a new Bosch dishwasher

Where have you been all my life!?

This dishwasher is one of the best investments I have ever made. Though I have only owned this dishwasher for one month, I have put it through test after test and the results have been remarkable. I love to cook and HATE to hand wash dishes. I make a lot of "from scratch" foods from a variety of countries (e.g. American, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, etc.). On a daily basis, I have an overly full dishwasher and pride myself on just how many dishes I can manipulate into a single load for washing. This dishwasher is awesome! The folding tines and the manually adjustable height of the upper rack allow me to easily get all of my dishes into a single load every time. I can even place my husband's tall, to-go coffee cups in the top rack - amazing! Couldn't do this with my old dishwasher. I also like the convenience of the silverware basket. I like how I can place my silverware in the little slots and not have to worry about spoons sticking together. And, the individual units are wide enough to fit coffee cup lids and my smaller measuring cups. I am consistently surprised to find that I can put lighter plastic items in the top rack and not find them flipped over and filled with dirty water and detergent upon the end of the cycle. It's great! I never have to rinse my dishes with this dishwasher. I've seen it remove: dried chili, spaghetti sauce (without staining plastic containers in the same load), crystalized brown sugar, egg yolk, etc. Just be sure to use the "heavy" mode. Everything comes out clean and sparkling. The dishwasher does struggle a little with foods containing the larger-sized herbs/spices, such as basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, etc. If you have any narrow glassware in the same load, you may get some debris in the bottom of the glass - it's not a significant amount though; and if rewashed in the next load, the glass will certainly come clean on its own. Be sure to thoroughly clean all of the dishwasher filters after washing any dishes containing these types of herbs/spices to prevent future occurrences. The dishwasher does an excellent job at drying the dishes as well. I'm still on my starter bottle of Jet Dry, but plan to switch to the Turbo Dry product to better assist with the drying of my plastic items. If I'm not washing plastic, everything comes out fully dry. If I have plastic items in a load, I may find a couple drops of water here and there on a few of my plastic items, but everything non-plastic is completely dry. I only use the cleaning agents recommended in the user manual and have had great success with this dishwasher. I use the Quantum tabs, will be switching to the Turbo Dry rinse agent as mentioned above, and plan on adding the PowerUp booster in the future (have noticed some hard water film). This dishwasher is also ultra quiet. Our house has an open floor plan and our dishwasher is located within 10 feet of the television in the family room. You would not believe how quiet this dishwasher really is! You can't hear it running - even it you are right up next to it. The only time you will hear a dishwasher noise is when the water is draining. You'll hear the water rushing down the pipes in your sink. Super quiet!!! There is one con that I have found to this dishwasher. It involves the design of the bottom rack. As discussed, I do a lot of cooking and therefore I consequently have a lot of heavier and sturdier cookware. The weight of this cookware oftentimes is not well-balanced throughout the bottom rack. As a result, I'm constantly experiencing issues with the bottom rack coming off the track when rolling in/out to load and unload the dishwasher. I find this incredibly annoying. It's just a design flaw. There is a gap in the track between the door and the inside of the dishwasher. If the back of the rack is heavier than the front, when I get to that gap the rack falls and gets off track. Doesn't affect the functioning or ability of the dishwasher, but incredibly irritating to battle with. Overall, I would highly recommend this dishwasher. I couldn't be more pleased with it!!!

Where have you been all my life!

My wife and I, ocassional guests; require one to two loads per week. I normally turn on in the early morning while reading the paper. I am in the kitchen, no more than ten feet away. After six months of owning, I still find myself looking over my shoulder to make sure it's on! It's whisper quiet, and cleans just as well. Filter is easy to clean, machine tells me when to add more drying agent. I've only filled twice, so far. My only complaint is that we were not aware of the quality and efficiency much sooner. Installed myself, washing first load in less than one hour!
