Lionel 6-29286 Overstamped Conrail/Reading & PC/NH Boxcars 2-Car Set

These overstamp cars depict the transition period in railroad mergers when the new company simply writes over the old writing in an effort to get the cars back out on the road in a hurry. Here we have a New Haven Boxcar overstamped with Penn Central lettering, and a Reading Boxcar with Conrail overstamping.
