A patient wanted the same flannel blankets they had in the hospital, but with winter knocking, I ordered a bunch so we could layer as it got cooler. At the time, we weren't sure whether we were also going to be dealing with urinary incontinence issues, so I just needed something easily washable and absorbent. His wife says these get softer every time I wash them, and now she's sleeping with one too. The ONLY critical comment I received was that they leave a ton of lint in the dryer trap, and we're supposed to be controlling particulates due to a tracheostomy. I'm happy as long as the dryer is getting it, because I haven't noticed any extra dust or fuzz in the patient's room. These are perfect. Super light for hot sleepers, but cheap enough to layer and easy to wash. And I'm told they're getting better with age, so I managed to purchase the right thing (maybe better) based on limited information... believe me, I have made mistakes. this was not one. whew.
