Nice item for my ceramic top range.
I learned to place it with the textured side up so I could be aware it was there. With smooth side up it is invisible so I turned the heat on when it was smooth side up and THEN I SAW MY ERROR BEFORE i WRECKED IT AND THE STOVE!
