Positively saving money in time & fuel cost

Before I purchased the Lincoln Heavy-Duty Lever Action Fluid Pump, Model# 1335, I would have to drive to the fuel station, fill fuel containers, return, carry them to the shed and lift them to the tractor tank. A friend gave me a brand new emty hydraulic oil drum. My local Co-op guy stopped in, filled my house fuel barrel and my 55 gallon drum. With the proper additive in the drum. Saved me $50 in taxs on first fill. There is no funnel or lifting when using the hand pump to fill the tractors. This hand pump will pay for its self several times a year. I should have purchased it years ago!

Heavy Duty Lever Action Fluid Pump

It is a very good looking pump, but you can clearly see that the design is not meant to last. The joint that stabilizes the lever is very unstable and the pin that keeps it in place doesn't look like it will last very long. Another bad thing is that it takes a while for oil to stop leaking from the hose once the pumping is finished. However, it doesn't take very long to fill up a 5-gallon bucket. For the price, you can't beat it !
