Item came well packaged. It came in a box but was sealed in plastic so if it rained it would still be okay. It looks nice. I like the look better of this one more than his other ones. It is also sturdier than the ones he got from his usual music supply store. The pick holder does hold well. Even upside down it does not fall out. It is limited to opening 1” (2.5cm) so if you need something larger this is not the one. He said as you go down, it might get very tight so keep this in mind when ordering. My son has been playing for over 25 years and his electrics, electric basses and ukuleles had no problem but it was a tight fit for his acoustic guitars. He likes the sound and overall said he would highly recommend. I'm not a musician but I did like what he played for me. His electric sounded like a sitar. I don't know if that's what it is supposed to do but it was a nice to me. He liked it so much, he's ordering another one in another color.
