I highly recommend this product and brand to my friends.
I am always a bit leery to use 3party brands for my Apple devices, but I have used this Tripp-lite cable for months and it is first class. I'm pretty tough on cables and cords- always throwing them in my backpack or allowing my toddler to connect/disconnect my electronics and sometimes pulling the cable beyond recognition. Tripp-lite products are strong and durable.
