For a boot that's comfortable right out of the box, get the men's Distressed Grizzly Brown Waterproof Composite Toe Durango® Maverick XP™ Wellington. This 11-inch Western style is full-grain leather with a padded collar and features an abrasion resistant TPU toe cap and heel counter. It also has a soft mesh lining and Durango® Waterproof membrane bootie to keep your feet dry all day long. The Durango® X-Pand System™ which is a hidden gore expansion in the heel counter for easy on/off and the Durango X-Treme Comfort footed with Memory Foam for all day comfort and support.Inside it has a fiberglass shank for lightweight stability, dual-density midsole with firmer shock absorbing heel for added stability and a soft shock absorbing forepart for ultimate flexibility and comfort. The rolled shank area and anti-torsion ridged external shank provides added lateral stability and the outsole is a multi-durometer rubber with high abrasion outer lugs for high impact durability and softer durometer mid lugs for added flexibility and increased slip and oil resistance. It has a double row sole stich around the round toe for added durability and a 1 ½ rocker heel. These boots are compliant with the ASTM F2413 Protective Toe Classification and the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard. Very satisfied
Ordered online on Jan 17, boots arrived Jan 26, well within the 15 day period stated. And this was from US to Philippines! Kudos to that. The picture is exactly like the product. As to the visual craftsmanship, the stitching is very good (i.e. no loose threads), the leather is properly oiled, and overall it looks very robust. I ordered an 8.5 medium, and the boots fits perfectly with enough wiggle room for the toes, with about a cm space to spare, and wearing them is not a struggle. Visually though the boots look like a 9. The boots are very comfortable and the memory foam and layered outsole feel very good on the knees!
