Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea
Find right dose on chart. If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise use age.
Shake well before using
Use only enclosed dosing cup specifically designed for use with this product. Do not use any other dosing device.

Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 mL after the first loose stool; 15 mL after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 60 mL in 24 hours
Children 9-11 years (60-95 lbs): 15 mL after first loose stool; 7.5 mL after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 45 mL in 24 hours
Children 6-8 years (48-59 lbs): 15 mL after first loose stool; 7.5 mL after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 30 mL in 24 hours

It Works!
After 4 straights days of diarrhea, I finally got this product. It worked after the very first dose, and I haven't yet had to take another dose. The relief of not having to run to the bathroom every 5 minutes is worth every penny. I use pepto for upset stomach but for serious diarrhea relief I will never use anything but Imodium from now on.

Liquid Imodium works rapidly and I like to keep it available.
A single dose is usually sufficient. Liquid Imodium begins to work almost instantly, which can be very important. (I have not found other forms of Imodium as fast-acting.) The smallest bottle I have found is 4 oz. However, I suggest that liquid Imodium be made available in 3.4 oz. bottles that can be taken in carry-on baggage consistent with Transportation Safety Administration rules. A 4 oz. bottle, even though only half full, was taken from me by security officials recently. So, manufacturer, give us some help on this please.

Finally Relief!
Thank goodness for Imodium! Before I would have to let nature take its course, but not anymore. Other brands would leave me constipated for days after, but Imodium was easy on my stomach.
