Go violator if you want to hear your ride rumble

Just had these installed. Wanted a tolerable ride but some rowdy at WOT. When in the car with these Race Pros on my sbc with headers is pretty quiet all the way around. Must say I was a bit disappointed. Should have went with the violators but have no experience with those either so YMMV. The installer did put them in using the center as the inlet. Here on Jegs the overview says inlet/outlet are reversible. Don't see that on Pypes website. Can't help but wonder if that's part of the reason they're quieter than expected. Prior to this I was running open 12 inches after the collector so my judgement may be skewed :)
