this small midi controller takes up no room. it's about the size of a computer qwerty keyboard, which makes it good for those limited on space, or to take on-the-go. Velocity sensitivity is nice, as are the pitch and octave keys. Works well on Mac with garageband.

This is a cool device and quite popular among enthusiasts, however it is not a conventional musical keyboard, in that it produces no sound on its own. Instead, it is a computer input device and must be plugged into a computer with some kind of music software in order to produce music. It will not operate on it's own at all. It has no audio output or even a power plug. It runs on USB power only. There is no software included, you can download drivers if you search for them. The included product code did not work for me to use their software, but the drivers do not not need the code. The unit does include a USB cable in a hidden compartment at the top of the box. Setup was somewhat difficult. Once it runs, it does what it's designed to do.
