My family just moved into a new house and we were very excited about having the in-ground basketball hoop, and a high quality one such as Lifetime. When we were all moved in and I went to go play for the first time, I noticed that the height handle was damaged. I found the warranty and manual information left from the previous owners and contacted customer service. Even though the warranty was expired, they were still willing to work with me and ended up sending all of the necessary replacement parts free of charge. Very nice to see from a customer service stand point.
