It inflated immediately right before my eyes at 4 PM yesterday, it was cool to see. I was going to let it inflate further for 72 full hours at least and, it's recommended to do that to let it offgas and, to ensure that it inflates properly because, using it before letting it inflate properly causes it to be uneven I've read but, I slept on it last night at around 2 AM after my shower and, after installing freshly washed and, dried sheets. It's medium firm and, it feels cool, not hot compared to the last mattress I owned. I used to be sweaty from how hot my last mattress was and, now I'm not sweaty at all thanks to this mattress upgrade. Oh, and my body pain from the previous mattress I used is improving just after last night's sleep. I bought it because, it's claimed to be fiberglass free and, I like it's certifications. It is tall, I got 12 in, it is heavy though but, I really like how tall it is! It inflated evenly. I'm a heavier woman (180 lbs ) in late 20s. I sink in, it's slight but, it's noticable. Overall, I'm glad I bought this mattress over limited options here and, on Amazon. Most mattresses are not good and, overpriced but, the price on this mattress is fair but, obviously it's better priced than many mattresses of this type. Oh, and this isn't just for kids, 12 in. height and, it's weight makes me feel like it's for adults too. I wish I could show you how good it looks in all it's glory but, my sheets are on and, wrinkly and, you can't see the mattress because of that, you wouldn't be able to see how it looks, it just wouldn't do it justice if I took a picture of it with the sheets on and, I'm too lazy right now to take the sheets off and, to put them back on and, all that and, I'd rather just lay here. I bought the LIFEMENT 12 inch Queen cooling gel mattress, and after sleeping on it for a week I can confidently say my sleep has improved significantly. My old memory foam mattress had lost its firmness and I felt like I was sinking into it. This LIFEMENT mattress offers exactly what I needed, a firm but soft surface that instead of sinking makes you feel like your laying on a cloud. Great purchase for a great price!
