First, it didn't come in a box, was only wrapped in thin bubble wrap, so part of the plastic was cracked. Second, they had a strong chemical smell! My mom has breathing difficulty and the air cleaner using this filter would be sending the chemical smell with the air! Never going with knock off brands again. The Holmes brand may be a bit more costly but they're shipped in a cardboard box and have no residual smells at all.

Poor quality. I ordered one 2 pack. one of the filters was broken upon arival. I figured it was no big deal, it should still work. I ordered this a month ago, and just installed today. I wanted the replacement filter before I needed it. It did not fit correctly. I had to file the tabs that hold it onto the filter unit in order for it to fit correctly. They are the correct replacements for my filter, checked at least four times. In summary, one of two was broken. Neither fit correctly.
