Did a lot of research both before taking this and while I was going through the first container. What I can say from actually using it for one month is that it was easy to use; did not cause bloating or stomach upset; did cause my appetite to lessen; and it tastes pretty good. The way I took it was one scoop with plenty of water, three times a day from the very beginning. I used the same shaker cup I use for my protein drinks, so the amount of water was probably in the 10-14 ounce range for each serving. There would sometimes be small clumps that would come out; however, vigorous shaking during the mixing process and then drinking it quickly generally prevented this. The fact that it significantly reduced my appetite was somewhat unexpected; however, I would simply remind myself to eat something at least once a day. There were no negative effects on my ability to engage in strenuous activity at home or in the gym. I will definitely be purchasing this product on a regular basis.
