I'm grateful Lewis makes 1/2 loaves. I live in a nursing home, and I try to keep carbs down. The 12 grain and Nutty Oat are delicious and nutritious. I tried another brand, and it was dense and dry. I'll be choosing Lewis all the time now.

Great taste and stays fresh a long time

It was time to get healthy as my blood glucose and cholesterol were very high for the first time. I'm trying to cut a lot of sugar, incorporate more grains, etc. We tried several different whole grain breads, and they just don't work good for bacon, turkey sandwiches, and PB%26J. Husband brought this home, and although I hate the price for just a half a loaf, it's worth how fresh it stays, and it last longer than most breads! Makes great toast too!
