Adjustable trammels are used to scribe arcs and circles that are too great for conventional compasses and dividers. They are to be attached to a rigid item such as a steel rule or board. The points can be replaced with pencils or other marking tools. This adjustable trammel has a 6" off-center eccentric points to provide fine adjustment. The clamps onto beam 5/8" to 1-1/2" thick of any length.

Trammel light on features
Product only comes with steel points, and no leads that could be used to draw a circle on paper or other materials. I got it over the 'Net ... had I seen it in a store, I would have passed.
