At this price point these are the best bang for your buck. They come in different standard colors - red blue and black and they do not disappoint. Honestly you can't compare these to the high end permanent markers costing a lot more. These are cheap and work as intended.

A cheaper alternative to Sharpies
I go through a lot of black sharpies over the course of a year so I generally buy them in bulk when school supplies are on sale in the fall. This year I thought I would take a chance on the cheaper Staples version and so far the quality seems to be on par with the more expensive sharpies. Definitely a better value!
