Our Whisper Series muffler keeps the P03609 running a quiet 67 decibels ? well below the standards set by the National Parks Service, and our spark arrester has been approved by the USDA Forest Service. The industry-leading 5 gallon fuel capacity provides a whopping 14 hours of run time. Our rubberized Thresher handle makes recoil starting a snap ? even with bulky gloves. The Firman Volt Lock automatic voltage regulator ensures clean, consistent power output from the Firman Power Stream alternator. Pertinent information is at your fingertips with our 4-in-1 data minder measuring Volts, Hertz, Hours and a low oil indicator. The durable, compact tubular roll cage frame design is built for years of use. Just add gas! Purchased this because my power went out and was notified it would be out for sometime. Cut the box and got it out, loves the look and how it was made. Easy to follow instructions to get it set up to use. REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE TRANSPORTATION BRACKET! Very easy to follow, fired right up and worked outstanding. Only real issue I have is how hard it is to move around. I use a dolly but I'm going to find some wheels to mount to it, that'll make it easier to use outside as well. Love it, especially for the price

I would buy this generator
We plan to use this generator for household power during power failures. It will run our furnace, sump and well pumps plus fridge and some lights. After we went though the Ice storm, we learned the value of these items. (Need water from well to flush toilets, we have propane furnace) We would be quite comfortable in this type of emergency.
