I've looked far and wide... best so far

Best half-sheet pan I've found. Thick, but light; also very evenly heats. No rolled reinforced edge that can lead to rust and be really hard to clean. Instead, edge is rolled "halfway" but left open. Pan won't warp at temps up to 425°F. Above that temp it will torque, but goes right back to flat as soon as it cools. Note: DO NOT wash in the dishwasher. Pure aluminum discolors badly from dishwasher detergent. Instead wash by hand with regular dish soap. With proper care, it'll last a lifetime. I have 3 of them so I can bake multiple trays of cookies at once. They are the PERFECT pan for cookies.

I am familiar with Vollrath products. I own 3 of the cookie sheets. I've had this half,size sheet pan for a few weeks and I completely satified. I love the product for their quality and how well they are for baking. Best of all, they are Made in the USA! They clean up beautifully, regardless of what I bake. I have nothing negative to say about Vollrath. I will note that I do NOT put them in the dishwasher, and that's okay with me.

The lower gauge (thicker) material used is the key to the superior performance of this sheet pan. If you never want to have to "replace" your sheet pan then this is the pan for you. It's a workhorse.
