APC Original battery greatly improved runtimes
Replaced batteries for our SUA2200 with very good results. Previously had tried a compatible brand, cost about 1/2 the price of the APC but had less than about 1/4 of the runtime. Recalibrating the UPS did take quite a long time but I had excellent [e-mail] support from the APC Tech staff throughout. Several real-world test results did correctly reflect the [updated] values shown on Power Chute status. Out of curiosity, repeated the same real-world test with the compatible battery and sure enough, the battery depleted significantly earlier [i.e. runtime was about 20 - 25% of the APC-Schneider original]. Noteworthy: Pre-sales questions were addressed in a timely fashion, although one tech had "bypassed" a key point - a second covered the needed answer promptly.
