Adults 65 years of age and older: Ask a doctor. Adults and children 12- 64 years of age: Take 1 tablet (5 mg) once daily in the evening. Do not take more than 1 tablet (5 mg) in 24 hours. ½ tablet (2.5 mg) once daily in the evening may be appropriate for less severe symptoms. Children 6- 11 years of age: Take ½ tablet (2.5 mg) once daily in the evening. Do not take more than ½ tablet (2.5 mg) in 24 hours. Children under 6 years of age: Do not use. Consumers with kidney disease: Do not use.

as a severe asthma and allergies sufferer, xyzal is a great O.T.C medication. I'm on the heavy side, won't go into details but trust, and these kick my butt on the drowsiness but they give me so much relief. Much quicker and long-lasting allergy relief. it's one of those things were the benefits out wait the side effects. I don't like Benadryl because of the drowsiness, but they after you feel very groggy. xyzal does not leave you with that groggy, brain fog.

The XYZAL allergy pills work very well for me. None of the other brand name products work half as well. The only issue I have is that it doesn't provide the 24 hour relief as indicated on the bottle. I'd say more like 12 to 14 hours.
